Thesis submission datesThe course program concerns active students from the academic year 2016-17 to the academic year 2020-21 who will present a thesis.

Instructions for writing theses

Students are invited to send a draft to the supervisor within the stipulated dates in which they will present the research methodology (economic / econometric / business models to be used), part of the bibliographic review, the relevance of the topic to the DMPS as well as its contribution to the originality of the research.

Submission dates and examination periods:

Thesis presentation January-Degree delivery January 10, 2023

Thesis presentation September Delivery September 10, 2022

Thesis presentation periods/Sending draft to the supervisor:

Thesis presentation January-Send draft to supervisor by October 30

Presentation to the Academic Council September – Send draft to supervisor by June 25

A maximum of 30 minutes are allocated for the presentation of each work (20 for the presentation and 10 for questions and discussion).

The completed work (after approval by the supervisor) will

be written according to the following instructions.

Length of work:

There is no limitation on the number of words or number of pages. There is not necessarily a positive relationship between the quantity and quality of a postgraduate thesis. What is required is the substantial and qualitative coverage of the subject under consideration (minimum length of a postgraduate thesis 50 pages).

Greek (with English summary immediately after

Margins:

2.5cm margins on all sides.

Line spacing:

1.5 space

Page numbering:

Pages should be numbered consecutively from the first page after the title page to the end.

Figures-diagrams:

Black and white and/or color within the text

Figures and tables:

The titles (descriptions) of both figures and tables should be at the top and listed within the text. It is not recommended to present results from Statistical or Econometric programs without processing and inserting them into appropriate tables. The listing of a ready-made table should be accompanied by the source.

Equations:

The equations should be numbered consecutively and appear on the left side of the page, while the numbering should be in parentheses on the right side of the page.

Each figure, equation or anything else you have used from existing bibliography should be clearly cited. Each figure or diagram should have the source at the bottom left, e.g. Source: Samaras (2009, p. 109).

If we have any unpublished information, then it should be referred to (in a footnote) as personal communication, e.g. The information was obtained from Mr. G. Papandreou after personal communication.

Chapters – Subchapters

Divide the master’s thesis into chapters numbered in ascending order. Subchapters will be numbered as 1.1 (then 1.1.1, 1.1.2, …), 1.2, etc.

(the summary is not included in the numbering). Each chapter and subchapter will have a summary title. e.g.

Chapter 1 (TIMES NEW ROMAN 16, bold)

Introduction (TIMES NEW ROMAN 14, bold)

Each chapter description will appear on its own separate line. Each subheading (TIMES NEW ROMAN 14, italic) will appear with its numbering.

In general, the structure of the dissertation will be

iii. The name and title of the supervising professor
